Robert Lacey is a best-selling author and biographer who is currently historical consultant to the Netflix TV series, The Crown.

It is Robert's hope to develop Kent Opera from its fine tradition of drama and music inside prisons towards the resettlement of offenders in the wider community through the fellowship and challenges of working in a creative team.
